Summary
Eleven years ago I left the laboratory testing environment to change my
career path to information technology. IT offered a different
set of challenges that I could combine
my laboratory testing experience with the integration of Laboratory
Information Systems.
This change also fulfilled my ongoing pursuit
of learning new technologies.
The previous twenty-one years found me pursuing a diversified
background in laboratory
testing ranging from clinical/ reference
labs, pharmaceutical quality assurance, chemical manufacturing
facilities and the final ten years in forensic toxicology.
All of these areas were challenging opportunities and their analytical
disciplines carried
forward into the information technology positions
I have held.
